Charles Allan Crocker is honored by the International Association of Who’s Who as one of America’s Most Influential Attorneys for his extensive expertise in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate.
With a legal career spanning over 5 decades, Mr. Crocker demonstrates a wealth of knowledge, now serving as a sole practitioner and practicing across every level of the Texas state court system. Mr. Crocker began his career when he was admitted to the State of Texas bar in 1965. Over the course of his career, he also earned the opportunity to practice under the United States Tax Court in 1979, the United States Federal Court in 1980 and the U.S Court of Federal Claims in 1981 as well as the U.S District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the U.S Court of Appeals and the U.S Claims Court.
Mr. Crocker displayed an early ambition to practice law and this is down to the influence of his brother who also practiced as a lawyer. Mr. Crocker began his studies at the Texas Tech University, where he received his BBA in 1962. Following on from this achievement, Mr. Crocker furthered in his knowledge by enrolling at the University of Texas where he achieved his LLB in 1965. He also added to his skillset in 1972 by receiving a public accounting certificate which he has since maintained.
Mr. Crocker was fortunate to gain vital experience and expertise by starting his career working for the IRS in the role of estate tax examiner. Further previous experience includes being an attorney for Hendricks Management Co and Baker & Botts.
In his current capacity practicing as an attorney, Mr. Crocker has provided legal services throughout Greater Houston since 1965. As a sole practitioner at his law firm, he specializes in civil practice, prominent estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate as well as state and federal tax matters for individuals and corporations.
Mr. Crocker is privileged to have been invited to share his legal knowledge as a lecturer on various topics at a range of distinguished institutions such as the National Business Institute and the University of Houston Law Foundation Wills and Probate Institute.
Mr. Crocker maintains affiliations with the American bar Association, Texas State Bar association, Houston Bar Association and Houston Estate and Financial Forum to share his knowledge with other esteemed professionals.
Mr. Crocker has been recognized by others in the industry for his dedication and success in law as he was awarded an AV-Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Career successes include the Estate of Harrison V. C.I.R case in 1987 and Wilmington Trust Co V. U.S in 1985.
Mr. Crocker attributes his success to listening to his clients, keeping up to date and adopting the latest technology in his field whilst also ensuring to practice in the most cost effective and ethical manner to form a trusted relationship with clients.
In his time outside of practicing law, Mr. Crocker likes to remain active by playing golf.
